brrm | Party

Decided yesterday that I may as well attend the party that was announced with very little notice - so here I am at the tail end of Kake's barbecue birthday party. I drove down with Dom, a slightly more scenic route than I usually take - down the A40; the old road to London. It's a rather fun drive, especially the climb up the ridgeway, which hardly seems like a noticeable achievement on the motorway, which has a cutting. High Wycombe lasted rather too long - I'll have a look for a route which avoids it on the way home. The MG is really running well, after a service by me; replacing air and oil filters, changing the oil and spark plugs.
Sitting on the sofa now, watching Dom about to start playing Vice City, doing the chilling with wireless thang.

I'd also like to moan about black hair dye. My hair is dark brown to black, and I was hoping for a jet black effect. However, my fringe still looks brown, so I think I'm declaring it a bit of a failure. Perhaps another colour. Blonde?

Or maybe *after* I've had interviews and got a job, eh?
