I'm bored, it's Friday, have a poll.

Picture A

Picture B

[Poll #1066435]

ETA: the poll is about the relative merits of the wheel types, not my in-a-hurry photoshop skillz. ;-)

More seriously, I think A suits the style of the rest of the car better. B looks a bit too modern.

I had no preference initially, in fact didn't even notice the difference until I did a blink-test.

This counts as homework for me, for my OU digital photography course!! :-)

Oo, that's a point, I need a photography icon.

BTW I think the poll would have been easier to answer if I could have fitted both cars completely on the screen at the same time. I lose about 1/3 of one picture.

Picture A. Picture B looks like the sort of hubcaps you find on a modern saloon car or 4x4.

If you're going to go into "car tuning", then I've never seen a MGB with 'spinner' hubcaps, a ground level body kit, massive exhaust, roof and bonnet scoops, seismic stereo system and neon lights under the car. You could really go for the full "Pimp my Leyland" job, complete with aging hip-hop presenter in their 50s to really show off how a classic car has been ruined! :)

Minilites don't look right to me on an MGB. Even assuming you found Minilites that were big enough!

Not only can you get minilites to fit an MG, you can even get them with centre-lock so I could slip them on instead of the wire wheels: MGC with centre-lock minilites. Sadly, new, that's about 140 quid per corner...
