[livejournal.com profile] karen2205 suggested Woodstock as an important event of 1968, the year my Morris was born. Now, Woodstock actually took place in the Summer of 1969, but I think it could be sufficiently close to represent the spirit of the time the car was built (it was built towards the end of '68, so '69 could be said to be its first year of existence, more or less), and I like the name. So, can I get away with it?

[Poll #148372]

Expect more car naming postage here before long. Maybe.

The name may fit the spirit of the time, but fitting the spirit of the car itself, the car today, is more important.

...it was built towards the end of '68...

Well, one major event at that time was the Apollo 8 mission (first around the moon). I was going to suggest naming it after the command module, but it appears merely to have been called "Apollo 8". How boring.
