In ... other ... news ... I ... fitted ... a ... variable ... delay ... wipe ... switch ... to ... my ... MG ... today. Windscreen wiper wiring is a lot more complicated than I imagined, and does confusing things like connecting various pins to earth when you're not expecting it.
