They're easy questions so being minorly bored I'll answer them myself...
1) Of course. 2) Whatever... No, seriously. I can be a hell of a lot more insulting than pure indifference. With the right insults you can destroy somebody's life, with indifference you can just annoy them a bit. 3) Skirt. Easy access. :) Short of course. I know you didn't ask but I thought I should make it clear. :)
1) I guess I was being a bit pointed with that one :D 2) I feel that indifference is the greatest insult, personally. If someone hates you, at least you *register* in their consciousness, albeit in a bad way. You have enough personality/importance/sheer bloody mindedness to make an impact on their life. Indifference - you don't matter *at all*. You may as well not exist. 3) Should have guessed :) Stockings too, then?
2) That sounds to me like a text book answer. Something I would agree with in general but when you actually get down to a good insult that can drive you into a burning rage when it is uttered, its hard to really imagine that til you get that kind of insult. That's just a personal opinion of course but I guess that's all you can get. I can be insulted much more than by indifference. Maybe its all those years of wishing people would ignore me... :)
3) Stockings aren't necessary. Well, not unless there is an implicit only alternative of tights. Tights are evil and shouldn't be allowed. Bare legs are nice though. Better than stockings. :)
1) God, I'm so transparent! 2) No, no text book. Honest opinion. I'm not saying direct insults don't hurt me - they really do. I'm not *that* secure. I just honestly think that when people don't care, it's the lack of the quantum of solace that wounds the most (can't remember where that quotation comes from). That, and I'm also an attention-seeking little madam. 3) Yeah, I meant instead of tights. I object to tights because they never seem to make them long/tall enough, leading to waddling in the street, as the waistband coils itself around your knees. Elegant.
1) Well, not that transparent, it just struck me as not being so much out of interest as because you wanted to know if that makes sense. I suspect the distinction isn't very obvious to any but me though. :)
2) Sorry, didn't mean to imply you hadn't thought about it. Just that it seems like the sort of answer you might find in a text book or something and I far too often disagree with text books on this sort of thing. Then again I know I am a bit "special" on a lot of worldview type things. :)
