[this poll is interacting badly with your style, BTW].

I was bought my watch as a birthday present when I started secondary school; I can only really guess as to how much it cost, even though I probably once knew.

I wear it all the time, except i) when asleep ii) when typing [so quite a chunk of the day] iii) when doing some things that the strap wouldn't like such as washing up, swimming, climbing...

I sometimes take my watch off at night but sometimes I don't. It sortof depends on which watch I am wearing and various other factors like how likely I am to want to check the time that night!

There is also no ticky box for "nicely designed digital watch without calculator functions"

you have an odd idea what nicely designed is when it comes to asthetics. But each to their own.

I currently have a solar-powered (Citizen Eco-Drive), analogue watch with perpetual calendar - meaning that in theory I don't have to adjust the date until 2100.

I usually wear it all day, and got a Sapphire crystal ("unscratchable") face for that reason. I also got a stainless bracelet and body this time, as gold plate always wears out too quickly.
