I've been a little busy with the MG this evening. Having discovered that it is eligible for white/black plates because it was built in Oct 1972 - even though it was first registered on 1st Jan 1973, the rules say "constructed before 01/01/1973." So...

There are some cars that silver-on-black plates don't suit one little bit. Mark IV Golfs for a start. (Aside from them not being legal ...)

However, MGBGTs? Yes, definitely :-)

(I think they're slightly skew though, they're both a weeny bit higher on the right hand side than the left.)
