Before we start, on the subject of LJ friends: I post a fair bit in friends-only posts. If you're reading this (hello lurkers!), I'll almost certainly be happy to add you; some of my friends-only posts are interesting, but have to be hidden for reasons which you'll learn if I add you to the list.

hsenag: I have a clear memory of when I first saw him - wearing a <pred> t-shirt in the queue at the Oxford Sandwich Co. But we didn't meet properly until later, at pilly's showing of The Italian Job (see also below).
j4: Pretty sure it was in the Radcliffe Arms, but back then I was probably being quiet, so I don't think we spoke. :)

jojomojo: At one of the earliest parties I remember at Oxford - the Compsoc BBQ in John Ireland's garden. Emily was wearing a bright green dress, which can probably be blamed for the event sticking in my mind. :)

Yes, that sounds vaguely familiar, could have been the first time.
I'd like to apologise for probably being quiet and un gettable-to-know for so long, too, probably. And the same goes for, er, most other people.

I am definitely version 2.0 now. Shame it took so long.
