Those who find old computer hardware boring may wish to pass over this Flickr set of my current collection[1]

[1] Minus the VT100, which is living downstairs at the moment, and the anglepoise and original blue iMac, and Mac Mini, ditto.

Is the indy up and running? If so, what are you running on it? I feel the need to get my Challenge S going again (it's more or less an indy without a frame buffer).

I'm tempte to put Debian on it, and work on the 2nd Ethernet and SCSI interfae drivers. Especially as I work between Mr Linux/MIPS, and Mr Debian/MIPS...

It's running, um, IRIX something-or-other. It's been a while since I turned it on. Less visible in that photo are an Indigo and an Indigo 2 (huge purple beast that sounds like a jet engine).

Oh, I liked the Indigo. I used to have one on my desk, when I was qat NAG.

It's sad to see SGI in the state it's now in, even demoted to "junk bond" status. Still, at least Google are making good use the ex-SGI campus.
