Out of boredom comes memedom

While clearing out my work bag, I thought I'd try to start a meme. I call it "The contents of my work bag" - imaginative, eh?
My amazing 12 (at last count)-pocketed bottomless cycle pannier/satchel/laptop bag (Altura Skye Workstation - a fantastic pannier, incidentally) contains, when it has been cleared of crap, such essentials as:

I realised yesterday why a sudden braking manoeuvre on my bike resulted in an exciting 45-degree back-wheel-in-air stop - I had become too used to having a bag full of several kilos of crap on the back, weighing it down. :-)

- 1 pair Apple headphones
- 1 Victorinox Cybertool
- 1 Leatherman Micra
- 1 256MB USB flash drive
- 1 Q-Be teeny-tiny cube-shaped MP3 player.
- 1 retractable Palm charger/hotsync cable from Ziplinq
- 1 USB extension cable (yes yes, USB spec, for those who want to pedant)
- 1 32MB flash drive, from before they were ubiquitous, containing among other things the genome for Drosophila Melanogaster
- 1 Western Digital Passport 80GB portable USB hard drive
- 1 US->UK telephone adaptor
- 1 Palm Tungsten T PDA
- (Occasionally) 1 Apple Newton 2000 PDA
The slightly less geeky
- 1 Bic 4-colour biro
- 2 packs Wrigley's Extra gum, 2 flavours
- 5 testing Photonhunter business cards
- 1 permanent marker for CDs etc
- 1 copy of Insanely Great - The life and times of Macintosh, the computer that changed everything, by Steven Levy
- 1 blank Oxford postcard, for emergencies
- 1 chequebook
- 1 wooly hat
- 2 ziplock bags
- 1 pair latex gloves (for impromptu bike maintenance, before you ask)
- 1 Walkers freebie pedometer (not sure what that's doing in a cycle bag
- 1 pad small (~1"*1.5") Postit notes, 1 pad medium (3"*6") Postit notes
- 1 Lincoln College tie, for emergencies
