Yesterday, I discovered why Mumu had been standing on the keyboard of my bedside computer all the time, waking it up.

She had been standing on it to drink out of my bedside water glass - I caught her at it.

So, any other suggestions of "Things you're better off not knowing/discovering", in a comment please...

That the cats aren't jsut sitting in the bath, they're peeing down the plughole. And the reason they keep jumping up is because they don't like the draught up their bums.
